Intrinsically safe source module ISS
Module ISS is in system DATCOM-RTU mounted only on the basis of securing inexplosiveness requirement, concretely type of protection “Intrinsic safety” (EEx ia).
Signals from system busbar of module accommodates to level in accordance with norm ČSN EN 50 020. It realizes interface for intrinsically safe signals.
All modules and signals brought on the right from this module must be intrinsically safe!
In order to be secured separation of terminals for intrinsically safe and other signals by position, is the width of module 2U (50 mm). Color of module is from side of intrinsically safe signals (on the right) blue.
